Transition :)
A week ago a friend who's been following my blog texted me, "Did you end in Munich. Haven't seen a blog for awhile?". The truth is I did kind of a terrible job journaling in the week following Munich. I wrote every day still in my journal but not the kind of writing that makes for interesting reading and to be honest, I began to feel a need to take a break from posting every day. It's not a small amount of work and during the rest of my travel, I began to prioritize writing for myself vs the blog because the writing content is very different.
Now, it's been almost two months since my last blog post and I've been back in the United States for about two and a half weeks. I made it back home to Indiana just in time to spend Thanksgiving with my family, which I felt extreme gratefulness to get to spend the holiday together. After Thanksgiving, I drove up to Auburn, IN where I am living for the next almost two months with two amazing friends who offered their spare bedroom. What's next for me is a bit of a hibernation while I am in Indiana. I am working full time as a consultant helping companies with their data analytics programs and teaching two yoga classes a week at my local studio.
I didn't realize how truly tired I was coming off of the end of my travels until I fell out of the routine of being on the move. Boy, I was tired but now two weeks of being home, I feel well rested and am ready to share the rest of my journey through Europe.
After Munich, I visited 12 more cities and 8 more countries making it as far north as the Netherlands before hopping on a plane to back south to Greece for warmer weather and then popping over to Mexico for a week before coming back home. On Monday, you'll see the posts return to their normal daily schedule.
