D21: Milan

Today was one of the rare days I didn't journal on this Eurotrip, so here I am on November 2nd trying to remember what the hell I actually did waaay back on October 15th in Milan. If memory serves me correct, I took a yoga class in Italian in the morning at a beautiful studio and then walked around the main area of the city known as one of the fashion centers of the world. I began to feel sick during the day, a bad omen for what was to come, and picked up some gloves to prepare for the potential cold weather hiking I'd do in Interlaken, Switzerland the following week.

One of my favorite film directors, Wes Anderson, designed a coffee shop in Milan so I made the trek to visit the place, and it didn't disappoint. Quintessential Wes Anderson. Other than this, my day in Milan was pretty casual since I did some work as well.

Towards the end of the day, I began to feel the onset of a cold -- my nose wouldn't stop running and the back of my throat started to itch. My sleep this night would be among my worst I've had because my nose was sooo stuffed up that I could hardly breath.
